Last friday,I made a topic talk in our class to intruduce my favourite mythical charactor. I will post some in here,because I want to share with Laura.^^
This is one of the Four Great classical Chinese novels.A true story of a Chinese monk, Xuan Zang to fetch back some Buddhist scriptures .But as you know,novel always have some change, add some unreal stories.
The author's birth is 1501-1582 years,so it has a long history.
The main charactors is a master( Monk Tang) and 4 apprentices(Monkey King,PigsySandy,White dragon horse). It is said if you eat the flesh of the master monk,you can living forever.So that every ghosts and monsters want to kill him and eat his meat.Buddha want to test he,so he sent four apprentices to protect the monk.
They must overcome 81 difficulties,it is fantasy and myth.
The novel have a high historical significance and influence on future generations. Their perseverance, dauntless spirit is truly worthy of our learning.
We have many movies, TV plays, cartoons about it.the most classic edition in 1982-1988 produced by China Central Television. They overcomed the hard conditions,low salary,even life danger, and used underdeveped movie special effects at that time .It contains beautiful sceneries and wonderful storylines.Children love them.
Monkey King is my idol and hero.I still trust he will protect me when i need.
